Irish Setters
We have been breeding Irish Setters for over 30 years. Our
aim is to produce healthy, loving, and beautiful dogs. All of
our setters that have ever been bred have been certified clear
of hip dysplasia. In the late '70's we test bred our Irish Setters
for PRA and since that time have only used dogs that have been
genetically clear of PRA, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (a recessive
eye problem that can lead to eye blindness).
Most of our setters go into pet homes where they become a part
of the family. We never did breed more than a litter or two
a year and sometimes did not breed for up to 3 years at a time.
We usually keep something from a letter to show or breed.
Although I now have other breeds also, I would never want to
be without one of our Irish. They are great fun loving dogs
and give laughter to your life. Now onto the setters
that have become a part of our history.
